Contact a Jira or Board Administrator to configure this board error

Hi,

    I've been granted Administrator access for a JIRA board for changing the configuration.

However I'm still getting "Contact a Jira or Board Administrator to configure this board" message in the configure page.

JIRA admin menu shows the following

I can see that 'Administrator' role is checked against my name in 'User and roles' page under project settings.

I'm not sure if anything else needs to be done. Please advise on how to resolve this issue.

Welcome to the community!

You actually have to go to the board and click on "configure board". Make sure also that someone that owns the board Grant's you access as a board administrator.
