Hi all. I've got a problem with Jira calculating the control chart. My goal - find out the cycle time and have a breakdown for each status.

I've got three of them (To Do, Dev&QA, UAT) and see their sum to be ~12 days. Now, let's see each column meaning:

To Do ~ 8 days;
Dev&QA ~ 8 days

UAT ~ 0 days.

Now, how 8+8+0 might be equal to 12?

I think the issue might be in calculations behind, as I've noticed, number of issues is changes a bit, when I vary status picking. So, since there are different number of issues in each status, summarising them all would not be valid. In this case, how can I find out the initial goal - track cycle time over time periods, with the breakdown for statuses?

Hi @Roman Kovalevsky ,

You could try our app Great Gadgets for Jira Server or Great Gadgets for Jira Cloud.

One of the 10 dashboard gadgets included is the Control Chart gadget, which is based on a Jira filter and is fully customizable.

See https://bitbucket.org/StonikByte/great-gadgets-add-on/wiki/Home#!control-chart-gadget
