Control if an issue screen date field is former or not to the current date...

Is this possible to control if a date specified on an issue screen is former or not to the currentdate ? if yes, how I can I do that ?

which screen you want to valiadte? if you want to validate on transitions then you have to develop validator to check this

Not on a transition screen (I know about validators in order to check value fields ... but on the issue's screen. I've tried to find something in the field configuration, but unsucessfully. Any idea ?
