Convert sub-task to issue - How to delete custom fields in step 3 update fields

I've created some custom fields and use these in some screens (edit, view, create). These screens are only used in project X.

In project Y these custom fields are not used in any of the screens connected to the project Y. If I want to convert a sub-task to an issue in project Y, in step 3 of 4 (update fields) all created custom fields for project X are displayed on this page. What should I do to remove these custom fields of the 'update field' page?

Thanks!

Hi,

Can you look at your field configuration for the target project, maybe these fields are here so will see them in step 3.

Change your field configuration will be the solution.

Thanks! For those who experienced the same problems: I had only 1 field configuration scheme. So I made a copy, connected it to the project X. And in the old configuration scheme I hide all the custom fields I did't want to see.
