Copy Label, Component from Epic to Story and Story to Sub-task

Hi, I don't see capability to copy Label , Component from story  to sub-tasks in JIRA. When I create sub-task of a story, Label and Component should be copied to the sub-task automatically. Same behavior should be applicable while creating story for an Epic.

I tried using "Set from Issue's Parent" in JIRA version 6.3.15, but it doesn't copy Label and Component to the sub-task from the story.

Can you help in this regard ?

"Set from Issue Parent" is not native JIRA functionality, rather it is provided by the JIRA Misc Workflow Extension add-on.

You should use "Copy Value from Other Field" and select Labels, and select "Copy from Parent"
