Hi,
SInce Automation for Jira does not offer such solution, I'm looking for a scriptrunner groovy script that will do the job.
Can anyone help?
Thanks
Itamar
Hey Itamar,
Until we (Automation) can figure out how to do this in a bullet proof fashion (memory, disk-space, ...) we are happy to delegate this to the ScriptRunner guys.
With their latest version they have actually added an integration with Automation that you may find interesting - gives you the best of both worlds - https://scriptrunner.adaptavist.com/latest/jira/plugins/automation-for-jira.html
In terms of the script, you should be able to get a list of child issues and then use something like the following to copy the attachment -
I'm sure the someone with more ScriptRunner experience will be able to help you out further.
Cheers,

Automation for Jira
Hi Nick,
I'm invested in Automation for Jira for the reason that developing scripts is not my strong point and probably so are most of your customers.
Can you assist me, until you have the functionality embedded in Automation for Jira, with creating such script?
Thanks

Hey Hilli,
To tell you the truth I've got little no experience with ScriptRunner. Though the guys at Adaptavist are pretty active and there are a few community champs around like @Thanos Batagiannis [Adaptavist]
Cheers,
Nick
