Hi all
There are multiple task linked to parent EPIC. I have created one rule which will copy any changes in description of task to flow back to parent EPIC description. Below are details of rule.
1. When value changes: Description
2. Issue type equals: Task
3. Parent matches: issuetype = EPIC
4. Branch : For parents
5. Action: Edit issue fields description: copy description from trigger issue.
But since different people working on task. If one made changes on one day and another made changes on another day...rule is triggering but overriding previous comments.
Can someone suggest if I can make some rule or edit current rule to capture those changes in description of task as comments in parent epic, whenever someone make changes.
Else if someone had a way around to do the entire piece.
Regards
