Is it possible to copy a workflow scheme?
My intent is to have project B the same workflow as project A.
For this if I copy the workflow scheme of PROJECT A and then rename it and then associate it to Project B will it work?
Hello @Abin Joy
Do you want the projects to really use the exact same workflows, so that if you changed the workflow for one project then that change would affect the second project also? Or do you want project B to start with a workflow that is the same as project A, but then later allow you to change either project's workflow without affecting the other project?
If you want to maintain one set of workflows (a workflow scheme) that is applied to both projects and stays the same for both projects, there is no need to actually copy anything. Just assign the workflow scheme used in project A to project B.
Why do you want Project B to have a workflow scheme with a different name?
@Trudy Claspill I was advised to have a different name I guess for easy identification purposes.
Regarding your question in the para 1, I guess it is former than the latter

If you want to keep the workflows in synch for the two projects then I would strongly advise you to have just one workflow scheme assigned to both projects.
Technically you could create a copy of the workflow scheme to and since they contain the same Workflows they would stay in synch. But if you added a new workflow to one of the Schemes then you would have to manually add the same workflow to the other scheme.

hello @Abin Joy , you need to copy the workflow separately and then assign it to your copied workflow scheme and then associate it to the project. Copying workflow scheme won't copy the underlying Workflow associated to it.
