Welcome to the Community!

Your question has no context, so we cannot begin to answer it.  All we can do is say "you need to put a valid id or value into the parent option object", but we don't know how to do that because you have not told us what any of the things in the question are, when you get the error, or how you are triggering it.

What are you doing that provokes the error?
