Create Variable Function Unavailability

Hi, Dear Colleagues.

We are using the Jira Data Center with 2 instances, Jira Service Management and Jira Software.
In the Jira Service Management, we have the Create Variable function in the automation, but in the Jira Software, it is missing.
Could you please inform me why?

What version of each product are you using? Create Variable did not become available in Jira Software Data Center until version 9.2.
