Create an issue in Jira with Attachment using Jira rest-api

I am able to create an issue in jira from my application but I need to attach image as well when I create an issue. I have implemented one of the approach which is discussed in Jira Community. When I create an issue in Jira I am grabbing the issue key or ID and sending attachment but i am not getting any response or errors from server.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Are you using Jira and jira service desk portal? Add the field "Attachments" to the "Create screen" in the "Screen scheme" associated with the issue type you are using in the "Issue Type Screen Scheme".

After you've added the field in the apropriate screen, then you can add the attachments in the customer request type in the project configuration:
