Create branch in Jira (Jira - Bitbucket integration)

Hi,

We and our users of Jira and Bitbucket make heavy use of the "Create Branch" funtionality in the Development panel in Jira.

In our setup we use the following branches:

master

Branch prefixes: feature

From time to time "custom" is choosen instead of "Feature" as branch type when clicking "Create Branch" from Jira. If the user doesn't select "Feature" as branch type the branch prefix will be empty leading to branches not being picked up by our build system.

Is it possible to have the "Feature" branch type set as default ?

We use Jira 7.4.4 and Bitbucket Server 5.6.1 both running on RHEL 7+

Hi Claus,

There is a feature request that you can find at BSERV-4139 for this feature.  Please vote on it to add impact and add your use case the notes.  Once you do this you'll be notified of any updates to the ticket including a fix version, etc.
