We have a Jira instance with numerous projects. A project role has been created so that out of the 5 projects, users in that project role can only see 1 project. A new permissions scheme was also created to facilitate this. And this seems to be mostly working fine.
When the users in this new role go to the Jira page showing all their project, they only see the one they are supposed to. This is good.
But, when creating an issue in this project, they are able to see the other projects in Jira, in the _Project_ field (see the screenshot).
You can see that the _Project_ dropdown shows other projects (which they can't see in the Jira project list), in the _Recent projects_ and _All projects_ lists.
They can also select one of these other projects and create the issue against them.
Is there a way to not allow them to see these other projects at all in this dropdown?
