Create multiple JIRA-Issues from Confluence based on labels

Michael Dietrich-Spitzley August 16, 2018

Hi,

is it possible to create multiple JIRA-Issues from Confluence, based on labels or subpage-list?

I have following process in mind:

  1. The requriement is described in Confluence
  2. For all approved requirements, a JIRA-issue shall be created

My first idea did not work.

Using labels or subpage-list, mark the lines and create several JIRA-issues did not work. As far, as I understood, a table must be prepared with the pages, but this is additional, manual work that could be avoided using labels or page-structures.

Hi @Michael Dietrich-Spitzley

Unfortunately I could not find an exact solution to your requirements, instead I think Scriptrunner and Comala Workflows May get you one step closer.

While the end result is not exactly what you require I would suggest reaching out to Adaptavist to see if it is possible to create Jira issues based on a Confluence Status macro instead of an approved page.

hope this helps,

Danny
