Create new issuetype in JIRA project

Hello There,

For specific need of my project I want to create new custom issuetype. Though my role is administrator, I am not able to create new issuetype here.

Hi Rahul,

you need to be a Jira Administrator (not only Project Administrator) to create a new issue type.

Jira Cloud - Adding, editing, and deleting an issue type

Jira Server - Defining issue type field values
