Create project role for specific project

I want to create project roles for specific projects using REST API. I have come across CREATE PROJECT ROLE API but the project role created shows up for all projects when I check with GET PROJECT ROLES FOR SPECIFIC PROJECT .

Is there any way by which I can create project roles for a single specific project out of multiple projects in Jira?

No, project roles are global, they appear in all (company managed) projects as soon as you create them.
