Hello,
I created a group to place viewers from our marketing service.
When I add user, I can only add user and administrator.
At our IT service, every body is user, and create tickets.
Our marketing must only be viewer of tickets.
How to do so ?
Hi Christope.
To grant read-only permission to specific user, you may do this:
1. Create a group called "marketing" in your Atlassian Cloud. Relevant article here: https://support.atlassian.com/jira-cloud-administration/docs/create-and-update-groups/
2. Add your marketing users to the marketing group.
3. Ensure that the users in marketing group does not belong to other groups that has additional access.
4. Grant marketing group product access by following "To give users in a group access to multiple products" instruction in https://support.atlassian.com/user-management/docs/give-users-access-to-products/.
5. Edit the permission scheme used by the affected project. Provide "Browse Project" permission to the marketing group. You may read more about the permissions in permission scheme here: https://support.atlassian.com/jira-cloud-administration/docs/permissions-for-company-managed-projects/
