As displayed in the picture, In one of the JIRA form I have created in JIRA board, under one section apart from the description, there is another line item shown as 'None', I want to know how to remove it, it's confusing because in the original copy of the form it is not displayed (Attached the picture), but when someone uses the form and submits the response this 'NONE' appears under that purticular section, want to know how I can remove that.
Hi @Theertha Sukesh ,
From what I'm seeing here, these are two different views/things:
Now, it seems that the form field is labeled as "What got done last week" is 'linked' to description field and that other custom field on the item view is not needed.
So, if you're a project admin and have item layout permissions on each item you should see button labeled "Configure" on the bottom right side of an item. Once you click on that, you can simply remove "What got DONE last week" and it won't be visible in the item view.
Hope this helps.
Cheers,
Tobi
Hey @Tomislav Tobijas Thank you for the response, I tried to follow the instructions that you have posted but, I am still not able to remove the 'NONE' section. Went to configurations and tried to edit it, but the 'None' is not visible in that. Attaching a screenshot below, please let me know how to proceed with this, appereciate the help.

Hi @Theertha Sukesh ,
I was on vacation so just got back to this.
Okay, you're using team-managed project here. Basically, the concept is the same - if you'd like to remove the field from that work item type, simply drag and drop it to the right side of the screen and click "Save changes".
From the first image you've attached, you can see that form field labeled as "What got done last week?" is actually mapped to "Description" field, so this Jira field seems unnecessary and can be removed as described.
