Hi all,

I have a BitBucket project linked to Jira and just today created a code branch.

In the Jira dashboard under Development it shows the commit, but it also shows an error: "Something went wrong. For some reason we couldn't show this commit."

If I click on the commit it shows the error "We couldn’t reach the server. Check your connection, then give it another try."

None of this is hosted by me. It is all cloud based, i.e. hosted by Atlassian.

Any help is appreciated.

Hey @thefarmprocess

Welcome to Atlassian community!

There's an active incident that's impacting the sync between Jira and the integrated development tools. Internal teams are working on it and it should be resolved soon.

Thanks!

Hi @thefarmprocess ,

Can you maybe try refreshing repository connections from the DVCS accounts page in Jira? This might help re-establish the link and update commit info.

Once connected, you'll see your Bitbucket repositories listed on the 'DVCS accounts' page in Jira. The DVCS accounts page is only visible if you are a Jira Admin. Head into Jira settings > Products then under the Integrations heading you should see DVCS accounts.

- source: Connect Bitbucket Cloud to Jira Cloud

If you're on any paid Jira or Bitbucket plan, you could also try reaching Atlassian Support as their team can take a detailed look on what's going on.

Cheers,
Tobi

Thanks Tobi.

Turns out Jira was having an internal issue, but I have refreshed the DVCS accounts anyway. :-)
