Creating Custom JQL Function in Jira ScriptRunner

Preetham K S July 11, 2024

Hi Everyone,

I am working on to create a new custom JQL function in Jira Script Runner and need some assistance. My requirement is to create a Custom JQL function (slaMET():Returns issues that have successfully met their defined SLA.)

what I'm aiming to achieve:  Custom JQL Function: issueFunction in slaMET().
Excepted output: That function should return issues that have successfully met their defined SLA.

Script runner version: 8.29.0.

I have already created the path to store the file path is: com/onresolve/jira/groovy/jql in scripteditor.

Current Facing Issue:

1) I am facing issues such that when i am trying to search issues my jql function come under issuekey not under issuefuntion. But as per my requirement my jql should come under "issueFunction"

Hi @Preetham K S

Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

What do you mean a new JQL function? I don't think you can do it.

You will have to use the existing function. It is not like creating a script to achieve a certain behavior in Jira.

Best,

Fadoua
