Creating Different SubTask Issue Types in a Team-Managed Project

My team uses a team-managed project as we like the flexibility it gives us to adjust as we go and improve our processes.

We have several issue types that we have created and we have enabled subtasks.  

Now we would like to create different types of subtasks so we can track those different types in different ways - for example, if we find a bug as we are testing a user story, we want to create a bug subtask that sits in the user story and so the story is not complete until the bug is complete.

I can't figure out how to do this.  I've looked all through "Help" and tried everything I can think of.

Does anyone have any ideas?

That is not currently supported. Here is the change request for it:
