Creating Jira issues for sonar scan bugs using jenkins

Hi Teams,

We have CI-CD pipeline where we have jenkins as CI and Sonar as code quality tool .. now when we run sonar scans using jenkins for sonar bugs or vulnerabilities we need to create a issue or defect in jira using jenkins. 

Please let us know whether this is possible and provide any relevant document if available.
