I created a Jira task from slack using the /jira create command. I ensured the task followed the Board acceptance criteria (there is only one filter so this was easy to do), however the task is not appearing in the Board after multiple hard refreshes. Any ideas? Is the task creation origin point somehow preventing it from being displayed properly in the Board? The task does appear in the project Issues list, but not the Backlog/Board.
Hello @Ashley Hunt
Welcome to the Atlassian community!
Have you confirmed that the task was created at all? Are you able to find and display the newly created issue using the Advanced Issue Search screen and a filter something like:
created>(-1h)
If you can find the issue, compare the information in it to the filter for the board. If you want help with that comparison share an image of the issue and the board filter with us.
Is it a Kanban board or a Scrum board?
Is the project a Company Managed project or a Team Managed project?
Thanks @Trudy Claspill
Company-managed project, Scrum board. I did confirm that task was created, I can find it in the list of Issues. I did also compare it to the board filter and I didn't find a reason for it not to qualify. Screenshots here (the task has a qualifying label and is in the right Project):
Update: When I first made the task I set the status to "In Progress", and it wasn't showing up on the Board (the only unmapped status is "Plan Requirements"). The task has since been moved to "Done" and now I do see it on the Board... strange.

When you say it wasn't showing up "on the board", a Scrum board has both a "board" view and a "backlog" view. Was the issue missing from both when it was initially created from Slack? It would show on the "board" view only if it was assigned to an Active Sprint.

Oh! That could be why. I just did a test and it worked that time. Thank you!

One thing I noticed is that the issue in the screenshot is in project PM, but the board filter is looking for project RXMP.
