Hi,
I'm trying to create a top-level board for several Jira software projects. I'm a site admin. when I go to create a board, select the type (Kanban), I can only see my personal project in the drop list (not the whole list of projects). I can't see how it can be a permissions problem, but I know I'm missing something.
Help much appreciated.
Steve.
Hi @Stephen Wigney Welcome to the community. Can you please confirm if you are using Company Managed projects or Team Managed projects?
While creating the board, you should be able to see list of company Managed projects to which you have access. If you are using Team Managed project, those might not be listed while creating the board, as they can have only one board.
ah, OK thanks. I'm using team managed projects. Can I create a company managed project and create a board that shows team managed project epics/stories/tasks?
cheers,
Steve.

Welcome, Yes you should be able to create a company managed project and create a board from an existing saved filter. Just make sure to use the same workflow in both the projects :)

Hello ,
create a filter as below
project in (ABC, xyz, CDE) order by rank asc.
this will shows all issues from 3 projects, you can replace those three with your required projects.
now go to “My work” - Boards - view all boards - create a board.
choose Kannan - select the above Jql filter - choose location (personal - your name).
this will create a board with issues from multiple projects based on Jql filter.
thanks,
Anvesh Kagithala
