Creating a new Kanban board

It is a company version I am using, I am trying to create a new Kanban Board I'm following the instructions however there isnt a button or drop down for new board the options are existing project or existing saved filter is this a permissions issue or something else?

Welcome to Atlassian Community

When click on create board and Select Kanban

You will need to select the board filter or Project so board can contain those issues. Once you select that you board will be created.

Thank you for responding when I click on one of those options it populates the board with others project and filter issues. What I require is a brand new clean Kanban board

Are you looking for a new Jira project?

Board is display/Visualization of issues in project. If you are looking for whole new project reach out to your Jira Admin for project creation.
