I want to create a template for a software specification document which i will be able to use in a sprint and be able to export it to word document with all fields screenshots if any etc.. what would be the best approach to do this and which extension/s would be best suited for that. Note i do not wish to add these under 'issues' these are documents which are a task assigned to a team member and they create it and then export it once its reviewed.
Hi @Alexander Giterman , welcome to the Atlassian Community and thanks for your question.
I have used https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1218555/easy-pdf-export-word-export-html-export?hosting=cloud&tab=overview in a customer instance for a similar use case and it works well. Their process is that, at a defined point in the workflow, they need to create a pdf and then circulate it internally, so we're using Easy Word and Email this issue to achieve this.
Best wishes
Thanks for the prompt response, will this tool also work on "work items" such as "document" epic custom work items not "issues"?

Hi @Alexander Giterman , sorry for the delay in responding. As far as I know, you should be able to configure different types of export / template for different work item types.
I would check with the vendor just to be on the safe side - https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1218555/easy-pdf-export-word-export-html-export?hosting=cloud&tab=support .
You can install the app as a free trial for 30 days and test it out. I found the customer service to be really helpful when I was configuring this app in my customer instance.
Best wishes
