I wonder if you can create an email template to be used when working in a Jira issue?
We have our issue reports in jira and sometimes we need to extract some info from the issue and send it to our suppliers.
We also need to ask the supplier to fill in some information in blank fields that we would like this template to create.
So, By selecting a button or menu like, "SEND Issue to Supplier" the template should retrieve the wanted data (pre-selected by created template) and also create empty fields (also pre-selected by created template) to be filled in by suppliers in the same email, and send it back to JIRA.
We give info and ask for info to be answered in the same mail...
We support this using the Send Email from Issue feature in tandem with a Custom Email Template in Notification Assistant for Jira Cloud. However, you will need to think about what you want to happen when the supplier or whoever responds via email.
