Creating gadget

Hello,
I am currently working on creating a dashboard for my company projects and I'd like to know if there is any way to add or create a text gadget without compromising my project security.
This dashboard will serve as a reference for people outside the area, who don't know the team's name or activities, so the text gadget would help them to know what project is wich without having to open the projects one by one.
