Creation of custom field equal to Assignee

I tried to create a custom field with the same functionality that Assigne. 

I have selected for this purpose "User Picker" field type.

However when I associate it to the desired screen:

1. The appeared text box does not have a drop down option
2. It does not show the default value as "Automatic"
3. It does not appear below the text box the option "Assign to me"

Is it possible to copy directly the Assignee field from Jira and rename it?

No, custom user fields do not have the same functionality as the assignee field.
