Cross Project Versions

Within our team we use Jira (Software) & Service desk and thus we have multiple projects with different version numbering conventions however we are looking for the Best/Easiest way to link (cross project) these versions to service desk, any advice would be great.

There are two things that you can consider using for cross functional projects one is Sprints and second Labels. Sprints and Labels are global entities that you can use between multiple projects.

Versions are project specific entities so you cant use them for cross projects.
