I am JIRA Admin and I have reconfigured to trigger an email when an issue gets created but the current Assignee of the issue is not receiving it but the current Assignee revived it when i delete the issue. Can anyone help?
I have used default notification scheme where it is mentioned that Current Assignee should receive an email. I have multiple projects and for few i have configured my own notification scheme and for that particular project it is working fine. Also tried using the same notification scheme but still same issue. Can anyone help me out with this?

May you please check if the create transition of the workflow used by this issuetype / project triggers an Issue Created event ?
