Current user copied to custom field

Hi All, 

trying to migrate some of my workflow scripts from server to cloud and completely stuck with a simple task. 

Having a script runner post function with some conditions I need to fill in the custom user picker filed with current user. As I understand I am already working in a context of an issue. I will appreciate any hints on how to achieve it. 

At the moment I am getting always null value when trying to get the current user.

Hi @Blazej Borucki ,

When you reassess your server scripts in light of a migration to cloud, you may want to consider looking into the built in automation functions. Many of the things you scripted on server can quite easily be set up differently there.

I am aware of the cloud instance functionalities. Using them is not an option with the scenario I have, that is why I am asking about the script.
