I have a field called Date reported which is a date picker custom field. When I create a query filter I can see the values, but when I open the file in excel (chose open in spreadsheet then the Date Reported column is blank. All my other dates are showing just fine
I looked at the context and details of the field and cannot see anything wrong there.

You can check if your new column was added in the filter view or only in your default view.
