Below I am not talking about the the default field called Label on Stories/Bugs etc
I am talking about the Label Field TYPE
When I create a custom field and the type of the field is the label field type, when I start adding to the label on an actual Jira instance it will suggest from some previous label entries - these are called suggestions.
The list of suggestions - are they from a single DB source, i.e. all the labels ever typed in all label type fields from all projects (Global), or are the suggestions project scope, or even better field name based (either field name and project scope), or field name scope (transcending projects when the field is shared).
So for example - are suggestions global scope
Project A Bug
Release (Field Type is Label)
I type in "Hello" in this Release field- this will result in "Hello" being added as a new label
Project B Bug
Customer (Field Type is Label)
I type in "H" - it will suggest "Hello" - from Project A Release
are suggestions project scope
Project A Bug
Release (Field Type is Label)
I type in "Hello" in this Release field- this will result in "Hello" being added as a new label
Customer (Field Type is Label)
"H" - it will suggest "Hello" - from Release Field
or are they field scope (transcending project)
PROJECT A
Release (Field Type is Label)
I type in "Hello" in this Release field- this will result in "Hello" being added as a new label
PROJECT B
Release (Field Type is Label)
I type in "H" in this Release field- this will result in "Hello" being suggested from Release A above
or are they local project field scope
PROJECT A
Release (Field Type is Label)
I type in "Hello" in this Release field- this will result in "Hello" being added as a new label
PROJECT A
Release (Field Type is Label)
I type in "H" in this Release field- this will result in "Hello" being suggested from Release A above
PROJECT B
Release (Field Type is Label)
I type in "H" in this Release field- this will NOT result in "Hello" being suggested from Release Project A above
Thanks
