Custom Fields Not Displaying on Plan Timeline

Vivi Osorio April 30, 2025

I'm having an issue with the premium plan.

I created a plan using a filter, which automatically created a Timeline view.

The timeline, under the "List" view, grabbed default columns. I added additional columns, but these are only visible to myself. I would like the rest of the team to see the columns. The columns are not empty.

Thank you so much!

Hi @Vivi Osorio,

I noticed your question is already somewhat older. Nevertheless, if you haven't found a way around this: the changes you make to a plan are initially visible to just yourself. However, you can save a view so it becomes available to other team members as well.

See this rather short support article on how to do this.

Hope this helps!

Hi @Vivi Osorio

There’s currently no global column configuration setting that applies to all users in Advanced Roadmaps. However, here are a couple of tips:

Ask your team members to manually add the same columns by:

  • Going to the Plan.

  • Clicking the "Fields" dropdown (top-right of the List view).

  • Selecting the custom fields you added.
