Custom Listener Help

Hey all, 

I could really use some help writing a listener that will populate fields based on linked issues. 

I have three issue types and related issue picker fields

• Major Release (single issue picker)
• Related Initiative (multiple issue picker)
• Related Feature (multiple issue picker)

I need to create a listener that when an issue is set in one field at one level (issue type) it will copy down to the identical field at the other levels. 

Example: If Initiative A has Release 1.1 in the "major release" field and then Feature x is added to the "Related feature" field, the major release key field value will be copied down to the feature "major release" field in the feature ticket and the feature field key value is copied up to the "related feature" field in the major release ticket.  

The mapping of fields is as follows

Major Release

• Related Initiative
• Related Feature

Initiative

• Major Release
• Related Feature

Feature

• Major Release
• Related Initiative

Issue link types can be changed to accommodate the solution

I'm using scriptrunner. 

Any help would be massively appreciated as i am completely stuck
