Custom button that will trigger post request or post function with post request

Dear Community,

To make our process smoother, I need to have the possibility to send post request with two values, which should be obtained from two custom fields created in my project. It should be triggered either by clicking custom button (which needs to be added to ticket view) or by clicking workflow change as post-function.

It is needed to create dynamic environment which is later being used to test particular issue.

Is that possible in Jira? If yes, what will be better - custom button or post function?

How to send such api post request? And finally how to obtain values from custom fields while sending post api request?
