Custom field added to a project, but now i cant see any existing issue in the project

I added new custom field (text type) to existing project (make sure its in related field configuration and screen schemea)

But now project is behaving odd:-

1) I cant see existing issue in the project

2) while creating new issues, I am not able to select this project

Whats the problem ? Do i need to do index again ?

Adding a field should not have that effect.

It sounds like the permissions have been changed such that you no longer have access to the project.
