Custom field and automation

I have trouble with the automation, the custom field “manager” can't be call with {{issue.[Manager].displayName}}.

I use this article https://support.atlassian.com/cloud-automation/docs/jira-smart-values-issues/ 

But i can't configure this automation.

I use {{issue.[Manager].id}}. and {{issue.[Manager]}}. too

Are you sure you have a custom field called "Manager"?  You have used "manager" at the start of the question.
