Custom idea template not persisting in Jira Product Discovery

Hi,

We are experiencing an issue with our custom idea template setup in Jira Product Discovery Cloud. The template does not persist as expected.

After selecting and using our custom template, it randomly disappears or resets, forcing users to manually reconfigure the correct template every time they want to create a new idea. This is impacting our team's efficiency and consistency.

Expected behavior:

• The selected custom template remains applied by default or follows the configured rules.

Actual behavior:

• The selected template disappears or reverts to the default one without any user action, even if it had been correctly selected beforehand.

Has anyone else encountered a similar issue or found a workaround? Any support would be appreciated.

As you are on a paid Jira license, I recommend working with your Jira Site Admin to submit a ticket to Atlassian Support to take a look: https://support.atlassian.com/contact/#/

When you hear back from them, please post what you learn to benefit the community.

In the interim, would one of the Community Managers please move this question to the JPD product area?  That will help the JPD team see it faster to provide input.
