Custom status for workflow

Is it possible to create custom Statuses for a new workflow, in stead of using standard ones like OPEN, PENDING, IN WORK etc. I would like to customize the statuses visible by the portal users, so that they have a better understanding where their issue lies.

Yes, you can easily create new statuses and then use those in your workflow.

You can create whatever statuses that suite your organization.
