Customer Field Not Populating when creating Automation Rule

I'm trying to set an automation rule for a two-tier cascading parameter (when one option is selected from a dropdown, the second dropdown will pull certain values). I'm trying to get an automated rule created to copy the values from these two fields (which is one custom field, but a two-tier cascading dropdown) set to be copied from the Epic. The name of my field isn't populating in the list of fields that can be chosen. Does Jira automation not support two-tier cascading fields and running automation on those? Any way around this?
