Customise Swimlanes

There are two custom swimlanes I'm interested in.

Firstly one very similar to the standard "Stories" swimlane so there is one parent issue per swimlane where each swimlane contains all the parent's sub tasks, but with the crucial difference that issues that have no sub-task appear above, not below. Could someone help me with how to do this?

The second one I'd like to do is to have one parent issue per swimlane where each swimlane contains all the parent's sub-tasks, but this time order issues by story point.

Hi Natalie - Searching for issues that do not have subtasks is not possible with standard JQL.  You would need to use a JQL extension app such as JQL Tricks to gain JQL functions that let you query for that. 

For the second item you cannot sort within a swim lane separately from the board's filter's sort and I'm not aware of an app that can do that either.
