Customize screen UI for mandatory fields

I have some fields that are not marked Required in the field configuration.  On some transitions, values for these fields must be entered.  I have a screen for these transitions and I want to indicate this field is mandatory via a red star on the screen, similar to what Jira does for required fields.  I am checking if they are filled in via post function scripts and tell the user the field is mandatory.  But what I really want to do is implement similar functionality as the one provided by the Resolve Issue Screen for field Resolution.  Is this possible?

Hello,

Making a field required on transition is not available out of the box. You would need an additional plugin for it.

For example, you could use Jira Suite Utilites. Kindly read here for more information
