We are using JIRA cloud for issuing tickets & Product Discovery to generate ideas.
We've defined specifically what fields should appear when creating an Idea from JPD project page.
However, when a user presses on Create button and selects JPD as the project from the list of project options a whole different field options appear. This creates a confusion for users who doesn't create Ideas from JPD page but from Create button.
Is there a way to limit what fields and options will appear when selecting a project (to match the selection as if they were selected from JPD page)? If so, how?

We are in the same boat. We are having the same problem. On the JPD side, a custom View works great to set the fields for the Create Idea screen. BUT, only in JPD.
When a user creates an Idea using Create on the JIRA-side, they see all 30+ custom fields created in JPD and I cannot find any way to affect this create screen. ("Configure fields" in the Create screen works, but one user at a time...)
