Customizing Project key in Jira

In JIRA Issue key = PROJECTKEY + ID. Is there any posibility to customize the key as Issue Type + ID ?

No. The issue key is determined by the project key.

You'd have to rewrite a lot of Jira and it's plugins to change that.
