Customizing tab wording

I'm trying to get Jira/Greenhopper addopted at my organization and many users are having trouble with the wording of the tabs. Specifically the "Issues" tab with in Jira as we are using the tool to manage all our backlog (New Features, Enhancements & Issues). So, having the tab say Issues is limiting and confusing making it less user friendly and appealing. Is there a way to have that verbage modified?

Hi Doug,

It is not possible to change the naming but it is possible to create new tabs and hide the originals. This can be done in the administration panel => General => Tabs

Here you see a list with the current tabs, and a link named "Add Custom Tab" when you press this you will require you to fill in two input fields: Name and URL.

For the url input field you can give the following urls (after editing to your instance domain)
Jira => https://xxxx.atlassian.net
Confluence => https://xxxx.atlassian.net/wiki
Fisheye => https://xxxx.atlassian.net/source
Crucible => https://xxxx.atlassian.net/source/cru
Bamboo => https://xxxx.atlassian.net/builds
