Hi,
We worked on DOR template and want to add it automatically to each Story that we will create in a for of a seperate section in the story with 5-6 checkboxes that will be marked by Developer when working on a Story.
I dont see any value in adding those as seperate fields in Story, because we just need to have this as a seperate section that we can work on + not each checkbox will have to be marked.
Hi @Aleksandra , you should consider checking out our Multiple Checklists for Jira app. They'll be perfect for you. With Multiple Checklists, you can add as many lists as you need. You can also create templates of reoccurring checklists, which you can automate. For example to add Definition of Done or Acceptance Criteria template to each Story - Jira issue Type or more advanced automation with JQL.
Additionally, if you wish you can also add workflow validators, so the ticket can't be moved to a new status. You can set that ticket can't be moved unless all checklist items are done or have a status set.
Hope it helps, in case of any questions you can contact us here.

Hello @Aleksandra,
You can achieve this with Issue Checklist Free (the most popular checklist app on Marketplace) or its paid sibling Issue Checklist Pro.
They both allow setting checklist template as default for selected project (and issue type). As a result, all newly created issues get the checklist automatically.
You can also check other checklist apps from the Marketplace.
In case of any questions, we are always happy to help.
Cheers,
Jack
