Dashboard Gadget Conditional Color
We want to create filter results boxes that have a single value and are colored based on criteria.
I do not believe there is anything built-in to do that for dashboard gadgets. Perhaps look at the Atlassian Marketplace for gadgets that have this capability: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/search?category=Dashboard%20gadgets&hosting=cloud&product=jira
Kind regards,
Bill
Hi @Sheri Widler,
not sure if this is exactly what you're looking for, but you may want to have a look at the app that my team and I are working on, JXL for Jira.
JXL is a full-fledged spreadsheet/table view for your issues that allows viewing, inline-editing, sorting, and filtering by all your issue fields, much like you’d do in e.g. Excel or Google Sheets. It also comes with a number of advanced features, including support for (configurable) issue hierarchies, issue grouping by any issue field(s), sum-ups - as well as conditional formatting.
With conditional formatting, you can define conditions on any of your issues' fields (like priority, labels, or whatever matters to you), and if the condition is matched, highlight either the entire row, or a selected cell, in hundreds of possible color combinations.
This is how it looks in action:
As you can see above, this view remains fully interactive, meaning that you can work on your issues directly in JXL (but also trigger various operations in Jira, or export your data to CSV or Excel in just a click).
(I should add that JXL doesn't currently offer a dashboard gadget (but will do so, soon) - but many of our customers simply use a JXL sheet as a "de-facto dashboard".)
Any questions just let me know,
Best,
Hannes
