Dashboard doe snot have data

I want to create a dashboard on an existing project. When I follow the steps to create a dashboard no data is loaded into the widgets. How do I resolve?

Depending on the widget you need to configure the source data for this widget using the cog icon and select, a project o a saved filter as a data source.
